Editorial Policy

Accuracy and verification

We verify milestones, figures and quotes with the creator, their team or a public source before publishing. Follower and subscriber counts are approximate and dated at the time of writing. When we can't verify something, we say so or leave it out.

Fairness

We contact people before publishing criticism of them and give them reasonable time to respond. We don't publish rumours about creators' personal lives.

Minors

Many viewers and some streamers are under 18. We don't publish the full names, schools or locations of minors without guardian consent, and we avoid amplifying harassment directed at young creators.

Corrections

Errors are corrected promptly. Substantive corrections are noted at the end of the article with the date of the change. The "Updated" date on each article reflects the latest edit.

Independence and sponsored content

Our coverage is not for sale. Any sponsored content is clearly labelled as such and is never presented as news. Writers disclose any personal or financial relationships with the people they cover.

Clips and images

We link to and credit original creators for clips and images. If you own something we've used and want it credited differently or removed, contact the editor.
