Who was Nepal's first IRL streamer? NishantSAMA went live in February 2024
NishantSAMA's "First Ever IRL Stream" on 15 February 2024 is the earliest Nepali IRL stream we've found, months before Zeven, Mr Junior and Pradhan. Here's the full timeline, with every stream.
Correction: an earlier version of this story, published on 29 October, named Zeven as Nepal's first IRL streamer. Readers pointed us to an earlier stream by NishantSAMA, which we've checked. This story replaces it.
Ask who Nepal's first IRL streamer was and you'll hear several names: Zeven, Mr Junior, Pradhan, even Kiran Thakali. We went through their channels and dated every first IRL stream we could find. The earliest belongs to NishantSAMA (Nishant Gaire), who went live on 15 February 2024.

NishantSAMA: February 2024
NishantSAMA's "🔴 First Ever IRL Stream - Prime Minister At KU" went live on 15 February 2024. He streamed from Kathmandu University in Dhulikhel, where the stage banner reads "North Zone Vice Chancellors' Meet-2024 & Bharat-Nepal Higher Education Summit", 15 to 17 February 2024. It's the oldest live stream on his channel: he started streaming with IRL. A month later, on 15 March 2024, he was back out with a Basantapur IRL stream.
He has kept at it. He's streamed from Lalitpur, Pokhara, Patan and Banke, and in March 2026 he walked the entire Kathmandu Ring Road live, in a stream of more than nine hours.
Zeven: September 2024
Zeven went live from Banepa on 23 September 2024 with an unplanned kite-flying stream alongside friends, including PUBG Mobile streamer SK49. He went back for a kite competition with SK49 on 5 October 2024, and for "IRL Stream kite finals" a year later. It's one of Nepal's earliest IRL streams, seven months after NishantSAMA's.
Mr Junior: December 2024
Mr Junior, the Pokhara gaming creator with more than 800,000 subscribers, went IRL on 20 December 2024 with "JR FIRST IRL STREAM 🔥", joined by @HARAAMI and @prabinido3413 (as the title credits them). It has more than 88,000 views, so it's likely the IRL stream many viewers remember first.
Pradhan: November 2025
Pradhan's "First Irl Stream" went live on 18 November 2025. It was his own first IRL stream, not the first in Nepal.
What about Kiran Thakali?
Some viewers name Kiran Thakali, a creator now based in Australia, as Nepal's first IRL streamer. We can't confirm it. He has stepped away from streaming, his YouTube channel has no saved live streams, only videos and Shorts, and we couldn't find a Twitch account for him. Without a stream to date, we can't place him on the timeline. If you have a link to one of his IRL streams, send it to us.
The first female IRL streamer
Claypie is the first female Nepali streamer we know of to go IRL, with "First IRL stream in Kathmandu" on 19 October 2026.
What counts as IRL
An IRL ("in real life") stream takes the camera out into the world instead of streaming a game or sitting at a desk: walking a city, travelling, eating out or flying kites. Chat comes along for whatever happens next. See who's biggest today among Nepal's IRL and Just Chatting streamers.
