NepaliStreamers.com vs StreamerAwardsNepal.com: what's the difference?
Two websites, two different votes. Here's who runs each one, what they're for, and which vote decides the official Streamer Awards Nepal winners.
Since we opened our fan vote, many readers have asked the same question: is this the Streamer Awards Nepal vote, or is it fake? It's neither. There are two different websites with two different votes, and this page explains the difference.
In short: streamerawardsnepal.com is the official Streamer Awards Nepal site, organised by LaMa Group, the company of entrepreneur Pasang Lama. Its vote decides the real winners. NepaliStreamers.com is an independent fan site that covers Nepal's streaming scene and runs its own unofficial fan poll. The two aren't connected.
NepaliStreamers.com wrote this article about itself. We have no link to Streamer Awards Nepal or LaMa Group, and nobody paid for this comparison.

What StreamerAwardsNepal.com is
Streamer Awards Nepal is Nepal's first awards for streamers, "celebrating Nepal's streamers, chosen by the community", according to its website. Fans nominate streamers in each category, then winners are decided by a 100% public vote. The event will be held in Kathmandu; the date is listed as coming soon.
Nominations close at 11:59 pm Nepal time on 30 November 2026. You sign in with Google and must be 16 or older. Our guide covers every category and the rules.
If you want your vote to count towards the real awards, vote on streamerawardsnepal.com.
What NepaliStreamers.com is
NepaliStreamers.com is an independent website about Nepal's streaming and creator scene. We publish news, streamer profiles, rankings and esports coverage, from PUBG Mobile and Free Fire to IRL and Just Chatting.
Our fan vote is a separate, just-for-fun poll: every Google account gets one vote for its single favourite Nepali streamer, and the leaderboard updates live. It doesn't count towards Streamer Awards Nepal, and we say so on the vote page.
Why are there two websites?
Anyone can start a website, just as anyone can start a YouTube channel. Streamer Awards Nepal runs the official awards; we cover the scene as a fan site and give fans a place to cheer for their favourites. We're not copying the awards or pretending to be them. Our poll simply lets fans show support for their favourite streamers while the official nominations are open.
Is the NepaliStreamers fan vote safe?
Yes, and you can check each of these yourself:
- You sign in on Google's own page (the address bar shows accounts.google.com), so we never see your password.
- We receive only your name, email address and profile photo, used only to keep it one vote per person.
- Your vote is private. The leaderboard shows totals only, never who voted for whom.
- We never sell or share your details and never send you emails.
- Voter accounts are deleted within 90 days after voting closes, or sooner if you ask.
Everything is set out in our privacy policy. Questions? Message us on TikTok, Instagram or Facebook.
Which one should I use?
- To nominate or vote for the official Streamer Awards Nepal: go to streamerawardsnepal.com.
- To cheer for your favourite streamer and watch a live fan leaderboard: use our fan vote.
- To read streamer news, profiles and rankings: you're in the right place.
You can do both: the two votes are separate, and taking part in one doesn't affect the other.
